Experience the spiritual legacy of Badrinath with our handcrafted Badrinath Tour Package from Haridwar, curated by our experts to take you on a journey of discovery and divinity. Badrinath is one of the most revered Chardham pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and holds a wealth of folklore and legends that make it a must-visit for pilgrims and devotees from across India. The region is also known for its picturesque views of waterfalls, streams, rivers, and snow-clad mountain peaks. With our package, you will visit the Badrinath Temple, take a dip in the sacred Tapt Kund, and seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu in the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas.
The Badrinath Temple was established by Adi Shankaracharya, who is believed to have personally installed the idol of Lord Badrinarayan here. The shrine sits at 3,133 metres, surrounded by the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges on the banks of the Alaknanda River. The region was earlier known as 'Badri van' — named after the wild berries that once grew abundantly here. Badrinath is the only shrine that forms part of both the Chhota Char Dham and the Char Dham of India circuits.

Best Time for Badrinath Yatra
The Badrinath Yatra season runs from late April to mid-November each year. The temple remains closed in winter due to heavy snowfall in the Garhwal Himalayas.
April – June: The Kapat opens in late April (23 April 2026). May and June offer pleasant weather, clear skies, and good road conditions. Snow can still be seen on surrounding peaks. Ideal for a first Badrinath yatra.
July – August (Monsoon): Heavy rains can cause landslides and road closures on the Haridwar–Badrinath highway. Travel is possible but requires checking road conditions daily. Not recommended for elderly pilgrims or families with young children.
September – October: The most recommended period. Monsoon clears, skies open up, and the Himalayan scenery is at its finest. Roads are in good shape and the journey is far more comfortable with moderate crowds.
November: The Kapat closes in early to mid-November (tentatively 13 November 2026). Those planning a late-season Yatra should book well in advance and keep a buffer day in case of weather disruptions.
