Itinerary Details

Day 1 - Arrival in Bhubaneswar

Welcome to Bhubaneswar, Odisha’s capital. After reaching the airport or railway station our team will take you to your hotel. Later, explore the twin hills of Khandagiri and Udayagiri, popular tourist spots in Bhubaneswar where you can explore old Jain temples and caves, including Lion Cave, Queen Cave and Elephant Cave from the 1st century BC.

Then go to Bhubaneswar’s famous temples built between the 7th and 13th centuries. You can see Lingaraj temple, Mukteswara, Parshuram, Raja Rani, Kedargouri, and Bindusagar temple. Then stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2 - Bhubaneswar - Dhauli - Pipli - Konark - Puri

(Distance: Bhubaneswar to Dhauli 11 km, Dhauli to Pipli 16 km, Pipli to Konark 44 km, Konark to Puri 36 km)

After breakfast, drive to Konark. Stop at Dhauli to see the Buddhist Stupa ( a monument) and then visit Pipli, a colorful village famous for its handmade fabric art. In Konark, go to the Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in the 13th century by King Narasimha.

Continue to Puri and explore Chandrabhaga Beach and Ramchandi Temple on the way. Arrive in Puri, check into your hotel, and later visit the very famous Shri Jagannath Temple, located near the Bay of Bengal. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Note: Special arrangements with temple priests at Jagannath Temple can be included if desired.

Day 3 - Explore Chilika Lake

After breakfast, visit Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lake (brackish water means a mix of fresh and salt water). This lake is famous for different types of birds and other water creatures. Take a boat ride to the islands for bird watching and visit Kalijai Temple (on direct payment). Return to the hotel and relax on Puri’s golden beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 - Depart Bhubaneswar

Today, your Puri Konark Chilika Lake tour end. You will be transferred to the Bhubaneswar airport or railway station to go home.
