Early drive to Jankichatti, followed by a 6 km trek to Yamunotri. The climb is steady, so a slow pace is important. At Yamunotri, take a holy dip at Surya Kund, perform rituals at Divya Shila, and visit Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, return trek to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot.

- Return trek and drive back to Barkot

Note: This trek is not easy. Elderly pilgrims, heart patients, or people with knee pain should seriously consider Palki services. Weather can change quickly β rain, fog, or cold winds are common even in summer. Start early, walk slow, and stay hydrated.
