Day 01 Arrive in Varanasi

Our Pilgrimagetour team will welcome you at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station and take you to the hotel for check-in and some rest. If you choose a guide, they will come with the driver and help you throughout the day.

Later, visit the famous places in Varanasi:

  • Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple
  • Darshan at Annapurna Temple
  • Visit Vishalakshi Temple
  • Darshan at Baba Kal Bhairav Temple

In the evening, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Ganges (optional, at an additional cost) to explore the old Ghats and the city’s spiritual atmosphere. Later, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, either from the riverside or a private boat. Stay overnight in Varanasi.

Vishwanath Temple-

  • Morning Darshan - 4:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Afternoon Darshan - 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Evening Darshan - 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Day 02 Varanasi - Bodhgaya (248 km/5hr)

  • After breakfast, travel to Bodhgaya, a very holy place for Buddhists. On arrival, check in at your hotel.
  • Start your tour by visiting the Mahabodhi Temple. This temple is famous for its Bodh-style architecture, which gives a unique look, and is the best spot to click photos with family and friends.
  • Later, visit other main places like Animesh Lochana Temple (an ancient temple around 2,300 years old), Buddhist Dharma Chakra (Buddhist monument), Lotus Tank, Archaeological Museum, Thai Temple (Thai-style temple), Indosan Nipponji Temple, Gelugpa Tibetan Monastery, and the Giant Statue of Buddha (around 80 feet tall).
  • Spend the evening in Bodhgaya and meditate in its peaceful surroundings.
  • Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.

Day 03 Bodhgaya – Gaya (15 km/35 min) – Varanasi (257 km/ 6hr)

  • Early morning visit Vishnupad Temple located near the Falgu River in Gaya. Visitors enjoy its beautiful and peaceful surroundings. (Perfect Photo Spot).
  • Inside, you can see a 40 cm long footprint of Lord Vishnu, on a solid rock and covered with a silver-plated basin.
  • At Vishnupad Temple, people do the first Pind Daan at Brahmani and Gayatri Ghat, and the second Pind Daan at Pitamaheshwar.
  • Next, visit the Maa Sarva Mangala Gauri Shakti Peeth on Mangla Gauri Hill in Gaya, an important holy site where it is believed the breast of Goddess Sati fell. Drive back to Varanasi and check into your hotel. In the evening, relax or enjoy the magical Ganga Aarti near the river.
  • Overnight stay in Varanasi.
  • Note: Vishnupad Temple timings are 5:00 am to 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Day 04 Varanasi - Sarnath (10 km/ 30 minutes)

Early Morning:

Start your day with a peaceful boat ride on the Ganges and watch the busy Ghats like Assi, Manikarnika, and Harishchandra. You can take a sacred bath in the river, take photos, and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, optionally.

Later in the Morning:

Proceed to explore the famous temples of Varanasi-

  • Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple
  • Durga Mandir
  • Tulsi Manas Temple
  • New Vishwanath Temple
  • Also, visit the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus & Bharat Kala Bhawan Museum.
Afternoon Visit:

Visit Sarnath, a sacred spot where Lord Buddha shared his first teaching-

  • Dhamek Stupa
  • Chaukhandi Stupa
  • Other Buddhist Temples

Evening:

Enjoy a calm boat ride on the Ganges River from Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 05 Varanasi - Vindhyachal - Prayagraj (146 km/ 3 hrs.)

  • After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj. On the way, visit Vindhyachal Devi Temple for blessings from Mother Divine Shakti, and then visit Sitamarhi, the sacred place where Mother Sita is believed to have entered the earth. Later continue to Prayagraj and visit Anand Bhavan, the old home of the Nehru family.
  • Visit Alopi Devi Temple. This temple is unique because it doesn’t have an idol. People come here to pray for the well-being.
  • Now go to Lalita Devi Temple, also called Madhaveswari Devi. It’s one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where it’s believed Maa Sati’s hand fell.
  • Visit Shri Nagvasuki Temple, the king of snakes. People believe that praying here removes problems, protects from troubles, and brings peace and happiness. Many people visit during Nag Panchami and the Shravan month to offer milk and flowers.
  • Evening Aarti at Triveni Sangam Ghat.
  • Stay overnight in Prayagraj.

Day 06 Prayagraj - Ayodhya (167 km/4 hr)

  • Visit holy Triveni Sangam in the early morning where Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meet. Take a sacred dip and perform rituals. You can visit before or after breakfast. Capture photos of these rivers meeting.
  • Then, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Yamuna River and at the Sangam.
  • Visit this famous Bade Hanuman temple to see a huge 20-foot-tall orange Hanuman idol.
  • Visit sacred Akshayavat tree inside Patalpuri Temple in Prayagraj Fort. It is believed that Ram, Lakshman and Sita once rested here.
  • Explore Prayagraj Fort, built by Akbar in 1583, located near the Yamuna River close to where it meets the Ganges.
  • Later drive to Ayodhya that will take approximately 4 hours.
  • On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Later start your sightseeing tour of Ayodhya.

Evening:

  • Watch the Sarayu Aarti at Ram ki Paidi, where lamps, prayers and rituals create a peaceful atmosphere.
  • Enjoy a walk along the Ram ki Paidi Ghats close to the Sarayu River.
  • If time permits, visit the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, sacred birthplace of Lord Rama.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Ayodhya to rest and relax.

Day 07 Ayodhya Sightseeing and Departure

  • Begin your day by bathing in the Saryu River. You can also enjoy a peaceful boat ride if you like (optional). After that proceed to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, where Lord Rama was born.
  • Visit Hanuman Garhi Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, known for its hilltop location and stunning views of Ayodhya (best photo spot).
  • Explore Kanak Bhavan Temple, famous for its golden domes, dedicated to Lord Ram and Sita.
  • Visit the ancient Nageshwarnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • See Dashrath Mahal, home of King Dashrath, Lord Ram’s father.
  • If there is time, visit Valmiki Ramayana Bhawan to see beautiful pictures of the Ramayana. Then visit Treta Ke Thakur Temple, where King Vikramaditya placed idols of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman.
