What Is the Varanasi Prayagraj Ayodhya Naimisharanya Tour?

This is a 5-day spiritual circuit through four of Uttar Pradesh's most sacred destinations. Varanasi (Kashi) is one of the world's oldest living cities and the eternal abode of Lord Shiva. Prayagraj hosts the Triveni Sangam — the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama, home to the consecrated Ram Janmabhoomi temple (January 22, 2024). Naimisharanya in Sitapur district is one of the most important Vishnu pilgrimage tirthas in India — where, according to Hindu scriptures, Sage Vedavyas expounded the 18 Puranas to 60,000 sages. This North India pilgrimage tour covers all four in a single, well-paced trip.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How many days are enough for the Varanasi Prayagraj Ayodhya Naimisharanya tour?

5 days / 4 nights is optimal — 2 nights in Varanasi, 1 in Prayagraj, 1 in Naimisharanya, with Ayodhya as a transit-Darshan stop on Day 4. This covers all four cities without rushing any of them.

What is the 5-day Varanasi Prayagraj Ayodhya Naimisharanya package price?

Pricing depends on group size, vehicle type, and hotel category. Contact us at +91-8826094899 for a personalised 2026 quote. 5% GST is charged additionally on all package costs.

Is this UP pilgrimage tour suitable for senior citizens?

Yes — moderate walking only throughout the tour. A boat ride replaces Ghat steps at Varanasi and Prayagraj. Wheelchairs are available at Ram Mandir Ayodhya (show valid ID at entry). Ramp route available at Hanuman Garhi. Inform us at booking for advance support arrangements.

What is the best month for the Varanasi Prayagraj Ayodhya tour?

October to February is ideal. November is particularly special — Dev Deepawali in Varanasi and Deepotsav in Ayodhya both fall in this month, offering an extraordinary combination at two cities simultaneously.

What is Naimisharanya and why is it included in this tour?

Naimisharanya is in Sitapur district, UP — one of India's most sacred Vishnu tirthas. It is where, according to Hindu scriptures, Sage Vedavyas expounded the 18 Puranas to 60,000 sages gathered in the Naimisha forest. Chakra Tirth, its primary sacred well, is believed to be the center of the universe. Very few standard tours include it, making this package unique.

What are the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Darshan timings in 2026?

Sugam Darshan (general entry) opens at 6:00 AM daily; the temple remains accessible till approximately 10:30 PM. Mangala Aarti is at 3:00 AM — pre-booked ticket required. No mobile phones or electronic items permitted inside. Sugam Darshan and Aarti ticket fees are subject to temple trust notification — verify at shrikashivishwanath.org before visiting.

Can non-Hindus visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Ram Mandir?

For Kashi Vishwanath: all faiths may visit the temple complex and corridor, but entry to the inner sanctum is for Hindus only. For Ram Janmabhoomi: open to all Indian citizens; non-resident Indians and foreign nationals should carry valid identity documents.

Is the Ganga Aarti boat ride included in the package?

The Ganga Aarti viewing at Dashashwamedh Ghat (from the Ghat steps) is included in the itinerary. A boat ride on the Ganga to view the Aarti from the river is optional and chargeable — approximately Rs 150-400 per person per ride, paid directly to the boatman.

What is the Day 4 schedule? Is it too long?

Day 4 covers 360 km and includes Ayodhya sightseeing — it is the most demanding day of the tour. We start at 6:00 AM and prioritise Ram Janmabhoomi in the morning (shorter queues). Guests who prefer a more relaxed pace can opt to overnight in Ayodhya and proceed to Naimisharanya on Day 5 — contact us to discuss this itinerary variant.

Can this tour be customised or extended?

Yes. Common extensions include: an overnight in Ayodhya (instead of transit-Darshan), Chitrakoot for the Ramayana circuit, or Gaya and Bodh Gaya for the Buddhist circuit. Contact us at +91-8826094899 to discuss your requirements.

What are the Ram Mandir Darshan timings in 2026?

Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Morning slot (before 9:00 AM on weekdays) has the shortest queues. Sugam Darshan (advance booking) available at srjbtkshetra.org. No mobile phones or cameras inside — lockers at entrance gate.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

After booking: 5% charged. 45–30 days before: 20%. 29–14 days: 50%. 13–9 days: 70%. 8–4 days: 90%. 3–0 days: 100%. Train/flight cancellations follow individual carrier policy. 100% advance required for last-minute bookings.

How do I reach Varanasi to start the tour?

Varanasi (Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport) has direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. By train: several daily trains from Delhi (Kashi Express, Vande Bharat), Mumbai (Mahanagari Express), and Kolkata. We provide pickup from Varanasi Airport or Railway Station.

What should I pack for the UP pilgrimage circuit?

Modest, covered clothing for temple visits; stole for head covering inside sanctums; comfortable slip-on footwear; cash in INR (ATMs limited in Naimisharanya); Aadhaar card for Ram Mandir and KV Temple Sugam Darshan; personal medication. Leave mobile phones in the hotel safe or bag before entering Kashi Vishwanath and Ram Mandir.

Can I attend both the Ganga Aarti in Varanasi and the Saryu Aarti in Ayodhya on this tour?

Yes. The Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat is scheduled on Day 1 evening. The Saryu River Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya is on Day 4 evening, timing-dependent on arrival. Both experiences are spiritually distinct — the Ganga Aarti is a large ceremonial ritual, while the Saryu Aarti has a more intimate devotional quality.
