Read MoreSaraswati Pushkaralu is an important Hindu festival, a time to worship the Saraswati River and the goddess of knowledge and arts.
This special event happens every 12 years when Guru Brihaspati (Jupiter) increases the holiness of the river, as mentioned in the Puranas. Taking a holy dip in the Saraswati River during this time is believed to wash away sins and grant salvation (Moksha) for the individual and their ancestors.
Saraswati Pushkaram 2026 will take place from May 15 to 26 in Mana village, near Badrinath, known as the "first village of India" near the Indo-Tibetan border, where the Saraswati River meets the Alaknanda River.

Welcome to Haridwar/Dehradun. Our representative will meet you at Dehradun/Haridwar Airport or Railway Station and assist you. Proceed to Rishikesh for sightseeing, visiting famous ashrams like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Shivanand Ashram, Gita Bhavan, and Parmarth Niketan. Then, drive to Pipalkoti, stopping at Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, and Rudraprayag. Check into the hotel upon arrival and stay overnight in Pipalkoti.
In the morning, travel to Badrinath (Mana). Upon reaching Mana village, take a holy dip in the Saraswati River, perform Pooja rituals, and conduct Pind Daan Shradh for your ancestors. Explore Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul in Mana village. Return to Badrinath, check into your hotel, take a dip in Tapt Kund, and visit Badrinath Temple. Purchase tickets for the Maha Abhishek and Abhishek ceremonies. Stay overnight in Badrinath.
Visit the Badrinath Temple in the morning, passing through the colorful entrance for Darshan of Badrivishal, along with statues of Ganesh, Kuber, Garuda, Narada, Uddhav, Nar, and Narayan. Explore smaller temples of Laxmi Mata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarna, and Kamdhenu, and receive Charnamrit (holy water). Then, proceed to Srinagar, check into your hotel, and stay overnight.
Drive to Devprayag to witness the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. Proceed to Haridwar, visit Har Ki Pauri for a holy dip in the Ganges, and explore Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples for stunning views. Enjoy the evening Ganga Aarti. After sightseeing, we will drop you at the Railway Station or Bus Stand, concluding the journey with cherished memories.
