Your journey begins with a pick-up from Cochin Airport. Our driver from PilgrimageTour will welcome you and take you to Munnar, one of Kerala’s most beautiful hill station. If you’ve chosen a guide, he’ll travel with the driver and help you during the trip.
After being picked up, enjoy the scenic drive on the way and see-
After arriving in Munnar, relax at your hotel after check-in. You may enjoy a walk around the nearby area on your own. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Note- Carry light jackets or shawls, as Munnar can be cool, especially in the evenings.
After breakfast explore the beautiful places in Munnar.
Start your morning in Munnar’s green tea gardens and breathe in the fresh mountain air. If you have time, visit the nearby tea museum to try different kinds of tea. It’s also a perfect spot for a picnic.
After that, go to Mattupetty Lake and Dam. You can take a boat ride here and enjoy the hill views.
Next, visit Echo Point where you can shout and hear your voice bounce back - a spot kids will love.
Then explore Kundale Lake famous for the rare Neelakurinji flowers that appear once in 12 years. The lake’s area is very scenic and great for photography.
Later, proceed to Rajamalai at Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the rare Nilgiri Tahr ( a mountain goat ). The park is great for camping and attracts nature lovers and adventure seekers.
After a day of sightseeing and fun return to your hotel to relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.
After breakfast travel to Alleppey, popular for its small rivers, backwaters and lagoons.
Before you reach Alleppey enjoy the beautiful views of Kuttanad region, full of rice fields and coconut trees. If possible, carry a drone - the view here is truly outstanding from above!
After reaching Alleppey, either check into your hotel or make your stay special by staying on a traditional houseboat.

After a day of sightseeing and backwaters exploration, return to your hotel or spend the night on the houseboat. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Have your breakfast, then check out from the houseboat and travel to Cochin.
If time allows you can also visit some of Cochin’s famous spots like the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church (over 500 years old), and the Chinese Fishing Nets ( a great photo spot ).
You can also explore nearby Cochin’s markets to buy handmade items, spices and local Ayurvedic products.
Later, you will be taken to the airport, railway station, or bus stop for your home.

There’s no direct train from Alleppey to Munnar. The journey is done by road usually by car or bus for a smooth trip.
The best time to explore Munnar and Alleppey is between September to March, when the weather is pleasant, the skies are clear and sightseeing and houseboat experiences are enjoyable.
