Welcome to Agartala! When you arrive at Agartala Airport, our Pilgrimagetour representative will meet you and take you to the hotel for check-in and some rest.
Later proceed for Agartala sightseeing and visit-
In the evening, visit the Indo-Bangla Border (Akhaura Check Post) to see Indian and Bangladeshi soldiers lower their national flags together. It’s a unique experience for all visitors. You can also visit nearby markets to shop for handmade bamboo items and traditional clothes. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Note- Ujjayanta Palace is closed on Monday.
After enjoying breakfast, proceed to Udaipur and explore the Tripura Sundari Temple (Matabari). It is believed that if you pray here with a pure heart, the Goddess fulfills your wishes.
After Darshan go to Chabimura and enjoy a boat ride on the Gomati River, where you can explore the fascinating rock-cut statues hidden in Devtamura Hills.
If you have time or are a bit adventurous, you can trek 200 meters to explore Chabimura Cave (not suitable for elderly or young children).
Now, visit Neermahal Water Palace, located in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake. Enjoy a boat ride to reach the palace and explore its stunning design. Interesting fact: Neermahal is the largest water palace in India (best photo spot).
Next, visit Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary to see many different animals especially the unique monkeys. You can also see rare birds, a perfect spot for nature lovers (Closed on Friday).
Later in the evening, return to Agartala and visit Purbasha Handicrafts Emporium.
Start the day with breakfast then check out from the hotel and explore Kamalasagar Lake, a lovely spot for pictures. Next, visit Kasba Kali Temple located near the India-Bangladesh border.
