Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrive Cochin - Cochin Sightseeing Tour

Your journey in Cochin starts when our driver picks you up from your selected place - airport, railway station, or any location in Cochin. If you take a guide, he will join the driver and be there to help you all day.

After pick-up, you will start your tour and visit-

Jewish Synagogue
Dutch Palace (also called Mattancherry Palace)
St. Francis Church
Chinese Fishing Nets

Once your Cochin sightseeing is done, the driver will take you to the hotel. Check in and take some rest. You will stay overnight in Cochin.

Note- The Dutch Palace normally stays open from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Day 02 Cochin - Munnar (131 Kms/3-4 Hrs)

After having breakfast, travel towards Munnar.
On the way, you can also see tea gardens, spice plantations, and the beautiful Valara Waterfalls, which are around 1,000 feet high.
When you reach Munnar, check into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 03 Munnar Sightseeing

After an early breakfast get ready to explore the popular spots in Munnar.
Start your morning exploring the green tea gardens of Munnar, where the hills are covered with green tea plants that look like a green carpet. If time allows, don't forget to eat Puttu and Kadala Curry popular in Munnar.
Visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. You can try boating if you want (optional), or feed the colorful fish for a fun experience.
Echo Point is your next stop where you can shout and hear your voice bounce back. It is a fun spot with amazing views.
Next explore Kundale Lake a beautiful place famous for the rare Neelakurinji flower that blooms in blue once every 12 years.
Then go to Rajamalai in Eravikulam National Park, where you can see Nilgiri Tahr. The park is also known for its unique plants and wildlife.
After enjoying a full day in Munnar return to your hotel. Stay overnight in Munnar.

Day 04 Munnar- Alleppey (176 Kms/ 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, travel to Alleppey famous for its peaceful backwaters, rivers, and lagoons.
When you arrive, check into your hotel.
In the evening, you can take a calm cruise ride on Vembanadu Lake and enjoy the sunset, one of the best spot for photography (optional, extra cost).
Spend some time walking on Alleppey Beach. If you get time, try to see the 150-year-old lighthouse, and go up the stairs to enjoy stunning views from it.
Shop in local markets for unique gifts and handmade items.
Rest for the night in Alleppey.

Day 05 Alleppey - Trivandrum - Kovalam (160-170 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)

Start the day with breakfast on the houseboat. By 9:00 AM, the boat reaches Alleppey. Check out and continue to Trivandrum.
After reaching Trivandrum explore the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple famous for its amazing architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Optional Sightseeing- If you have time you can visit Napier Museum, the Zoo or other nearby heritage sites in Trivandrum.
Enjoy your evening on Kovalam Beach and stay overnight in Kovalam.

Note - Carry mosquito repellent to ensure comfortable and pleasant houseboat stay.

Day 06 Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin - Departure

Today is last day of your trip. Begin your day with a lovely sunrise at Kovalam Beach. After you eat breakfast take some time to rest and enjoy the calm beach atmosphere.
After that you will be taken to Trivandrum or Cochin for your return trip. We will drop you at the airport or railway station, whatever you choose.
Your trip to Kerala ends today and you go back with many happy memories.
