Welcome to Varanasi! After you arrive at the airport or railway station, our team from PilgrimageTour will take you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. If you choose a guide, he or she will travel with the driver and help you on the journey.
Next, start exploring the sights of Varanasi-
Take an optional boat ride on the Ganges to explore historic Ghats and feel the spiritual vibes, then see the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, either from the Ghat or on a private boat.
Imagine seeing the Ganges glow with many floating diyas (oil lamps) - don't forget to click pictures here. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kashi to rest.
Note- A lot of walking is needed in Varanasi, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
After breakfast, get ready for a drive to Prayagraj.
When you arrive, go to Triveni Sangam, take a holy bath, and pray.
Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Yamuna River and at the Sangam, and see beautiful ducks swimming nearby (a great spot for photos).
Visit the popular Bade Hanuman Mandir in Prayagraj, where free meals are provided to the poor people. Sitting here is very relaxing.
Now, go to the Akshayavat Temple and see the holy Akshayavat Tree.
Then, head to Prayagraj Fort (also called Allahabad Fort), built by Akbar in 1583.
Next, go to Alopi Devi Temple, a famous Shaktipith shrine.
If time allows, you can visit Lalita Devi Temple and Shri Nagvasuki Temple.
Also explore Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family’s home.
Return to Kashi in the evening and enjoy a comfortable night at your hotel.
Wake up early, and enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Ganga. The sunrise looks beautiful over the river, and you can see people praying and performing rituals at Assi, Manikarnika, and Harishchandra Ghat.
You can also take a holy bath in the Ganga. After that, visit the well-known Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
After coming back, visit the famous temples of Varanasi like Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple (famous for its Boondi Laddu Prasad), Durga Mandir, Tulsi Manas Temple, and the New Vishwanath Temple inside BHU (perfect place to click photos).
In the afternoon, head to Sarnath, the holy place where Lord Buddha gave his first teaching.
Visit the Dhamek Stupa, where Buddhist pilgrims from countries like Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar come to pray.
Then proceed to Chaukhandi Stupa, Buddhist temples, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum. (Remember, the museum doesn’t open on Fridays.)
In the evening, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station to take your flight or train after your Kashi Prayagraj tour.
