Itinerary Details

Day 01 Madurai & Rameshwaram Sightseeing (173 km / 3 hrs Drive)

Your tour begins when our driver meets you at your chosen pick-up location in Madurai airport or railway station. If you hire a guide, he'll come with a driver and help you during the journey-

After pick up, start your sightseeing tour of Madurai and visit-

Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple- A famous temple near the Vaigai River, known for its 12 big towers and beautiful architecture (best photography spot).
Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple- This temple was made by cutting a hill long ago, at a time when there were no modern machines, which shows how skilled the builders were.

After visiting the main sights in Madurai, drive to Rameshwaram. Once you reach, check into your hotel and later visit-

Ramjharoka Temple

Note- Timings of Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple are from 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Day 02 In Rameswaram

Early in the morning, around 5:00 AM, take a holy bath at Agni Theertham. Then visit the Sphatik (Mani) Lingam for Darshan. It is believed that the lingam remains cool even in very hot weather.
After that, take a dip in the 22 holy wells inside the Ramanathaswamy temple.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After having breakfast, start your Rameshwaram sightseeing tour. Explore the Five-faced Hanuman Temple, Ramar Patham, Kothandaramaswamy Temple, Gandamadana Parvatham (famous for Lord Rama's footprint), Rama Setu, Dr. Kalam's House and Dhanushkodi ( a scenic spot ).
Have a peaceful overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 03 Rameswaram - Kanyakumari (312 km/ 7 hrs)

In the morning, visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple once again or take a holy dip in the sea, known as Samudra Snanam.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Kanyakumari, where the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean meet.
Kanyakumari is famous as the only place in India where both sunrise and sunset can be seen over the ocean.
After reaching, check into the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

Day 04 Kanyakumari - Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) (100 Kms/2 Hrs)

Early in the morning, go for a sunrise view at Kanyakumari (Don't forget to click photos!). The view looks magical as the sun rises over the ocean.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, visit the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built on a small island surrounded by the sea on all sides.
Then go to the holy Kumari Amman Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where it is believed that Goddess Sati's spine fell.
See Triveni Sangam, the meeting point of three seas, and Gandhi Mandapam, built at the spot where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were kept before being placed in the sea.
You will also see the Thiruvalluvar Statue, a tall monument built in memory of the great Tamil poet.
On the way to Trivandrum, visit the Thanumalayan Temple at Suchindram, popular for its 22 ft high Lord Hanuman statue. Later explore the Padmanabhapuram Palace, a royal palace made mostly of wood, famous for its traditional Kerala design.
If time allows stop at Kovalam Beach. Then continue your journey to Trivandrum.
On arrival check into the hotel and proceed to Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
Overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Day 05 Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) (Departure)
