Arrive at Madurai Railway Station or Airport, where our representative will eagerly await to pick you up. You will be briefed by our representative, and then you'll head to Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is situated in the sea area of the “Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserves.” It stands in the middle of Sri Lanka and India. This “Island City” is one of the Char Dhams of India. Check into your hotel. Later, you will head to Ramjharoka Temple, Ramanathaswamy Temple, and Agnitheertham. You will then have an overnight stay at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
After breakfast, you will head out for a sightseeing tour of Rameshwaram. You will visit the famous attractions, including Five-faced Hanuman Temple, Lord Rama footprint/Gandamadana Parvatham, Ramar Patham, Rama Setu/ Adam’s Bridge, Kothandaramaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, and Former President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam House. You will have an overnight stay at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
Dhanushkodi: The main attraction of Dhanushkodi is Adam's Bridge, which is also called Rama Setu or Rama Bridge. You can hire a jeep to visit Dhanushkodi. You will have to travel for around 3 hours to reach Dhanushkodi.
Kothandaraman Temple: The Kothandaramaswamy Temple is situated on Rameswaram Island on the way to Dhanushkodi at a distance of 12 km from the main town of Rameshwaram. In this temple, the main idol, Lord Sri Rama, has been depicted with a bow and arrow. In this sacred site, Lord Rama blessed his devotees with Lord Hanuman, Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshman, and Vibhishana.
Before departing for Madurai, you will visit Ramanathaswamy Temple once again or have Samudra Snanam. After that, you’ll return to your hotel, have a tasty breakfast, and check out. You will drive back to Madurai. On the way, you will visit the Pamban Rail Scissors Bridge and the Pamban Bridge. Once you have reached Madurai, you will visit the Meenakshi Amman temple, which is dedicated to the union of Meenakshi and Sundareswarar. With this, your Madurai Rameshwaram Tour will come to an end, giving you many happy memories. Our representative will transfer you to Madurai railway station or airport, from where you will commence your journey to the next destination.
