• Day 01: Delhi

  On the first day of the tour, you will arrive in Delhi and you will meet our representative who will greet you warmly and then make all the arrangements to transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Have an overnight stay at your hotel getting rid of the tiredness of the long travel during the day.

• Day 02: Delhi - Agra – Varanasi

  Wake up early in the morning and get transferred to the railway station to catch a train for Agra. Agra is around two hours away from Delhi and has a lot to offer to visitors. You will relish a mouth-watering breakfast on the train. Once you reach Agra our driver will take you to the world-renowned Taj Mahal. On Friday Taj Mahal remains closed so you should not choose this day for the exploration of the monument. Taj Mahal is one of the eight wonders of the world renowned for its beautiful architecture and grander. This mausoleum of white marble symbolizes the love of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan. Next, you will head to the Agra fort that overlooks the Taj Mahal and is located on the Yamuna River banks. Built of marble and red sandstone Red Fort is the prime attraction of Agra. It houses Jahangir Palace, Diwan-E-Khas, Anguri Bagh, and Shah Jahan Mahal. As the day progresses and you complete the sightseeing tour you will be transferred to the railway station to catch a train to Varanasi.

• Day 03: Varanasi

  On the third day of the expedition, you will arrive in Varanasi, a city renowned for its spirituality and cultural richness. Have a hearty breakfast and then you will head to Sarnath which is around a 20-minute drive away. After reaching Sarnath you will visit the Dhamek Stupa, an age-old monument that holds immense significance. Dhamekha Stupa was constructed in 249 BCE and is a popular Buddhist pilgrimage site. After that, you will head to the Deer Park and the Sarnath Museum. Sarnath Museum is the Archaeological Survey of India’s oldest museum. It houses the excavations and findings at the archaeological site of Sarnath. Once you have absorbed Sarnath’s spiritual energies you’ll have a lip-smacking lunch at your hotel. As the sun sets you’ll enjoy a boat ride along the Ganges River. This tranquil voyage will offer you a unique perspective of the city. After the boat ride you will return back to your hotel and have a scrumptious dinner.

• Day 04: Varanasi – Bodhgaya

  Have a delicious breakfast and then you will head to Bodhgaya which is around six and a half hours away from Varanasi. After arriving at Bodhgaya, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and you will complete your check-in formalities. Have a tasty lunch and then you’ll prepare yourself to visit Mahabodhi Temple. The Mahabodhi Temple was constructed on the site where Gautam Buddha meditated and experienced awakening under a fig tree. The main temple building is constructed out of stone blocks with bodhisattvas and Buddha sculptures and stories from the Buddhist tradition. You will then see an 80-foot-high lord Buddha Statue that exudes the perfect mix of red granite and sandstone blocks. You will also explore various international monasteries. After that, you will return to your hotel and have a delicious dinner. After the dinner, you will have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 05: Bodhgaya - Rajgir – Nalanda – Vaishali

  Have a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then you will embark on a two-hour drive to Rajgir. After arriving at Rajgir you will visit Gridhkutta which is also known as Vulture's Peak. It looks like a sitting vulture and was the site for many of the discourses of Buddha. You will then visit the Vishwa Shanti Stupa which is also known as World Peace Stupa. It has a circular design and symbolizes the never-ending life cycle. Statues of the Gautam Buddha are mounted in four directions on the stupa. You will next visit the Venuvanam & Bimbisara Prison. Bimbisar Prison is the site where King Bimbisar imprisoned his son Ajatashatru. After that, you will have a luscious lunch at a restaurant. Thereafter, you will head to Nalanda which is around thirty minutes away from Rajgir. Once you reach Nalanda you will explore the ruins of the world ancient University.

  After that, you will embark on a scenic drive to Vaishali and you will be transferred to a pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 06: Vaishali – Kushinagar

  On the sixth day, you will have a mouth-watering breakfast at your hotel. Post breakfast you will visit the Relic Stupa, an ancient site with a rich Buddhist heritage. You will then visit the Kutagarasala Vihara renowned for its spiritual and architectural significance. After that, you’ll savor a mouth-watering lunch and then you will head to Kushinagar which is around a six-hour drive away from Vaishali. Kushinagar is a religious town known to be the site where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. It is one of the most important sites among the followers of Buddhism. This place is intertwined with the Mallas Kingdom’s historical roots. It is the place where Buddha delivered his last sermon. The exploration of the day will end as you check in at your pre-booked hotel. Have a lip-smacking dinner and then have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 07: Kushinagar - Lumbini

  Enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel and then get ready to visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple. This is the site where Gauta Buddha took his last breath. The temple houses the 6.10 m long Lord Buddha’s statue lying in a position when he left his mortal remains and achieved the state of permanent bliss or salvation. The next destination covered in the tour is the Rambhar Stupa which is Lord Buddha’s cremation site. The Malla kings constructed this stupa when Buddha was alive. After the sightseeing tour, you’ll return back to your hotel for a delicious Lunch. After the tasty lunch, you’ll embark on a picturesque drive to Lumbini. You must obtain a single entry visa for Nepal and a double entry visa for India. After arriving at Lumbini, you will check in at your pre-reserved hotel and have a delicious dinner. Post dinner you’ll have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 08: Lumbini - Shravasti

  Enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel and then visit the Mayadevi Temple, Lord Buddha’s holy birthplace. The temple is considered the heart of Lumbini and houses the ruins of the castle where Gautam Buddha grew up. You will then visit the Ashokan Pillar which is situated outside the Mayadevi Temple. It is the most revered monument erected by the Emperor Ashoka. From morning to evening, pilgrims from different countries meditate and chant at the site. After that, you will savor your lunch and then you will embark on a scenic drive to Shravasti which is around six hours away from Lumbini. En route, you’ll stop by Kapilvastu for around thirty minutes. After arriving at Shravasti you will check in at your hotel and have a luscious dinner. Post dinner you will have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 09: Shravasti - Delhi

  On the ninth day, you will relish a delectable breakfast and then you’ll embark on a spiritual voyage to Shravasti. Shravasti is the place where Gautam Buddha spent twenty rainy seasons in the Jetavana Gardens. The city houses majestic monasteries, age-old stupas, and revered temples. You will then explore the sacred precincts of Jetvan, Sahet, and Maheth. Jetvan was the second vihara that was donated to Gautama Buddha. After the spiritual exploration, you will have a mouth-watering lunch at your hotel. Post lunch you will head to Lucknow and you’ll be transferred to your pre-reserved hotel. After the dinner at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to the railway station and have an overnight trip to Delhi.

• Day 10 – Delhi – Departure

  Early in the morning, you will arrive in Delhi. Savor a luscious breakfast at your hotel and then embark on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. You will first visit the eleventh-century Qutab Minar, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the India Gate, the Lotus Temple, the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, and many other places. After the sightseeing tour, you will be transferred to the airport and board a connecting flight to your hometown.
