Day 01: Bodhgaya

The enlightening journey will start as you arrive at Gaya airport. You will meet our representative who will gladly welcome you and seamlessly transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya is situated in the heart of Bihar and holds immense significance as the site where Buddha got enlightenment. You will complete the check-in formalities and have an overnight sleep at your hotel thinking about the soul-enriching encounters you will have in the days to come.
Day 02: At Bodhgaya

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in the morning and then embark on a sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. You’ll visit famous Buddhist attractions such as the Mahabodhi Temple, Niranjana River, Sujata Village, various international monasteries, and the 80-foot-high lord Buddha Statue. Walk around the Mahabodhi Temple as a form of devotion in a clockwise direction. This practice is called Pradakshina or circumambulation and is quite common among visitors seeking blessings. Admire the Bodhi Tree under which Gautam Buddha got enlightenment and see the various monuments and stupas within the premises. Take a stroll along the Niranjana River and appreciate its scenic surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. You can also make offerings by the river or find a peaceful spot for meditation. The 80-foot-high Lord Buddha Statue is an architectural marvel renowned for its artistic design and sheer height. It is set against the natural surroundings and is a striking visual spectacle. After the sightseeing tour, you will return to your hotel and have an overnight stay.
Day 03: Bodhgaya - Rajgir – Nalanda - Bodhgaya

Relish a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel and then you will head to Rajgir. After reaching Rajgir you will first visit Gridhkutta, a sacred site where Buddha delivered many important sermons. It is also known as Vulture's Peak and is associated with Buddha’s teachings. The Lotus Sutra, an important scripture in Mahayana Buddhism, was delivered on Vulture's Peak by Buddha. You’ll then visit World Peace Stupa which symbolizes global peace and offers panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. Next, you will head to the Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison. Venuvanaram is one of the monasteries that King Bimbisara donated to Gautama Buddha as a peaceful retreat for meditation. Bimbisar Prison has a close association with King Bimbisara. The site is considered to be the place where Bimbisara’s son imprisoned him leading to his eventual demise. You will then have a tasty lunch at a local restaurant and then you will head to Nalanda. You can see here the ruins of Nalanda University, the world’s first residential University. Then you will drive back to Bodhgaya and relax at your hotel. At night you’ll have a mouth-watering dinner and then you’ll have a restful sleep in your room.
Day 04: Bodhgaya to Varanasi and Sarnath

On the fourth day of your spiritual sojourn, you’ll savor a hearty breakfast in the morning at your hotel in Bodhgaya. After breakfast, you will get ready for a scenic drive to Varanasi, a city steeped in spirituality and history. During this 6 ½ hour journey from Bodhgaya to Varanasi, you will appreciate Northern India’s diverse landscapes that offer insights into rural life. After reaching Varanasi, a city located on the banks of the sacred Ganges, you will head to Sarnath, which is situated just twenty minutes away. In Sarnath, you will visit Deer Park and the Dhamek Stupa. Dhamek Stupa is the place where Gautam Buddha gave his first sermon. It has a spiritually uplifting environment and attracts devotees and tourists from all around the world. Next, you will head to Deer Park which is connected to Buddhism’s foundational teachings. After the exploration of the famous Buddhist sites, you will head back to Varanasi for a mouth-watering dinner and have a relaxing overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 05 – Varanasi and departure

Day five marks the final day of your cultural and spiritual journey. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges. Witness the slow-paced life around the Ghats and the spiritual rituals taking place peacefully along the riverbanks. After the serene boat ride, you will go for the exploration of Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the most historically rich and oldest cities in the world, known for its exquisite silk goods and spiritual significance. Visit the ancient temples and absorb the divine atmosphere of this place. You can also shop for souvenirs at the local market. In the afternoon you will return back to your hotel and have a tasty lunch. Post lunch you will pack your bags and check out from your hotel as your spiritually uplifting trip comes to an end.
