• Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

  On the first day of the trip, you’ll arrive at Delhi Airport and Railway Station and meet our representative who will ensure you have a hassle-free transfer to your hotel. Complete all the check-in formalities and then relax in your room. If you have some time on hand you can explore the nearby sites and buy souvenirs for your loved ones from the local markets. If you’re feeling stressed you can rejuvenate yourself in your room admiring the beautiful views from the window. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 02 – Delhi – Gwalior

  Relish a yummy breakfast at your hotel and then you’ll be transferred to the Delhi Railway station from where you will catch the train to Gwalior. Gwalior is a beautiful city known for its ancient temples, royal palaces, and hilltop forts. This city is also known for being the training ground for famous musicians in the country. In Gwalior Tansen created many Dhrupad and raga compositions, strengthening the Indian classical music’s foundation. After arriving in Gwalior you’ll meet our representative who will drop you at your pre-reserved hotel. You’ll take a small nap and then get ready to explore the prominent attractions of Gwalior. Some of the key attractions you will visit include the Hindu Temples, Gwalior Fort, and Rajput Palaces. As the day comes to an end you will return to your Gwalior hotel and have a soothing sleep in your room.

• Day 03 – Gwalior - Orchha - Jhansi - Allahabad

  Post breakfast you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Jhansi and Orchha. Nestled on the banks of the river Betwa, Orchha is a small town with palaces, temples, and historic forts. It is a great place to learn about the Indian village life. Explore this town’s outskirts and see the colorful cottages that have an undeniable charm. You will visit Jehangir Mahal which was built for the Mughals as a citadel. Remain awe-struck as you see the large gates that were built for the entry of War elephants. In Jhansi, you will visit Temple Krishna which has a blissful ambiance and attracts pilgrims from all around the world. It follows a monotheistic tradition and is renowned for its impressive architecture. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station to catch the train for Allahabad. On board, you will have an overnight stay.

• Day 04 – Arrive Allahabad

  On the fourth day of the tour, you will arrive at the Allahabad Railway Station and meet one of our representatives who will transfer you to your designated hotel. Complete the check-in formalities after reaching the hotel and take a small nap. After some time you will go on a sightseeing tour of Allahabad. Allahabad is known to be the king of all pilgrimage sites and is the place where the Kumbh Mela and the holy Sangam take place. Three of the holiest rivers - the Yamuna, the Ganga, and the Saraswati meet here. Allahabad has also been mentioned in the Hindu Scripture Mahabharata. It oozes culture, history, and traditions and is the best place to learn about Indian heritage. You’ll visit Anand Bhavan where the Nehru family resided in the ancient era. This double-story mansion has now been transformed into a museum and showcases artifacts of the Independence movement. Return to your hotel in the evening and have an overnight stay.

• Day 05 – Allahabad – Varanasi

  Relish a tasty morning breakfast and then check out from your hotel as you will head to Varanasi, one of the holiest Indian cities. Relieve the stress of the tour by relaxing for a while and then you will embark on a temple tour. You will first visit the Durga Temple, an ancient temple that was built in the eighteenth century by a Bengali Maharani. The temple has been built in the North Indian Nagara style and has a Kund or pond within its premises which is linked to the Ganga River. Next, you’ll visit the Tulsi Manas Temple which is dedicated to Lord Ram. It is believed to be the place where the Hindu poet Tulsi Das wrote the Ramcharitmanas. The next destination covered in the package is Shri Kashi Vishwanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the newly constructed corridor of the temple, you will find Shaneeshwar Ling. You’ll also visit Annapurneshwari and Vishalakshi. After this spiritual tour of Varanasi’s famous attractions, you will return to your hotel and have a pleasing overnight stay.

• Day 06 – Varanasi - Sarnath - Varanasi

  In the morning you’ll enjoy a boat cruise at the Ganges river to experience the city in an intimate way. Later you will head to Sarnath. It is around 10 km from Varanasi and houses many Buddhist sites including the Dhamekh Stupa where Gautam Buddha delivered a powerful speech. The 141-foot-tall stupa has a breathtaking exterior lined with carvings of animal, geometric, floral, and human figures. Another popular destination in Sarnath is The Ashoka Pillar constructed by the emperor Ashoka. On top of this pillar is The Lion Capital which is hailed to be the National Emblem of India. In the evening you’ll return to Varanasi and go for Aarti Darshan. After the aarti, you will have a soothing sleep at your hotel.

• Day 07 – Varanasi - Gaya – Bodhgaya

  Wake up early in the morning and check out from your hotel as you’ll proceed to your next destination. You’ll head to Bodhgaya and on the route you will visit Gaya. Bodhgaya is a sacred destination that houses the Mahabodhi Temple. It is also the place where Prince Siddartha attained enlightenment and came to be known as Gautam Buddha. He meditated under the Bodhi Tree at this place only around 2600 years ago. In January the Dalai Lama visits Bodhgaya. The Mahabodhi Temple Complex is situated in the center of Bodh Gaya and is dotted with monuments, shrines, and sculpted figures. One of the prime attractions of the Mahabodhi Temple is the Mahabodhi Tree also known as the original tree’s direct descendant. This tree dates back to around 250 BCE and is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites. After arriving at Bodhgaya you’ll check in to your pre-booked hotel and have an overnight stay.

• Day 08 – Bodhgaya

  Have a luscious breakfast in the morning and then get ready for a full-day sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. The prime attraction of Bodhgaya is the Mahabodhi Temple which has been constructed on the east of the sacred Bodhi tree. It is seventeen feet high and comprises a pyramidal tower crowned by a magnificent stupa. The Diamond or Vajrasana Throne lying between the temple and the Bodhi Tree marks the place where Buddha meditated and attained enlightenment. Inside the temple, you can see a huge image of the Buddha in the bhumisparsha mudra. After visiting the Mahabodhi Temple you will visit the other Buddhist temples that have been built by Bhutanese, Tibetan, and Japanese and attract tourists from all around the world. In the evening you will return to your hotel and have a soothing sleep.

• Day 09 – Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda – Patna

  Savor a tasty breakfast in the morning and then pack your bags as you will go on a scenic drive to Patna. En route, you’ll stop by Nalanda and Rajgir. Rajgir is a quaint town that exudes the perfect blend of spirituality and natural beauty. Set in a picturesque lush green valley, Rajgir holds great prominence for the followers of Jainism and Buddhism. Both Lord Mahavir and Lord Buddha spent a significant amount of time here. Rajgir is dotted with many historical attractions, such as Bimbisara Jail, Cyclopean Walls, Veerayatan Museum, and Sonabhandar. In Rajgir, you can take a dip in the hot springs and visit the age-old spiritual sites. Around twelve kilometers away from Rajgir is Nalanda. It is considered to be a place where ascetics and saints resided. Buddha visited Nalanda many times to deliver some powerful sermons.

  Being a prominent historical structure Nalanda was declared a UNESCO Heritage Site. Nalanda houses a Buddhist University built around the Magadha kingdom. Its preachings and findings became an important reason for India to prosper. After a short tour of Nalanda, you will continue your drive to Patna and check in to your pre-reserved hotel after arrival. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 10 – Patna – Kushinagar

  Early morning you will drive to Kushinagar, the place where Buddha took his last breath. On the way, you’ll have a lip-smacking lunch. After arriving in Kushinagar you’ll enjoy a scrumptious lunch on the way. Kushinagar is a small town situated around fifty kilometers away from the city of Gorakhpur. This city holds immense religious and historical importance as it is dotted with magnificent stupas and temples. It is the place where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana and his body was also cremated here. There is also a temple named the Mahaparinirvana temple dedicated to the event. Mahaparinirvana temple is a modest temple set among an excavated stupa and monastery ruins and extensive lawns. You can see here the reclining Buddha statue in the para-nirvana position. You’ll also visit the Ramabhar Stupa where Buddha was supposedly cremated. In the evening you’ll return to your hotel for a delightful stay.

• Day 11 – Kushinagar – Ayodhya

  Relish a scrumptious morning breakfast and then visit Mahaparinirvana Temple. It is the place where Gautam Buddha took his last breath. Regarded as one of the holiest shrines of the Buddhists, Mahaparinirvana Temple is renowned for its breathtaking architecture and serene ambiance. It houses a magnanimous idol of Lord Buddha in a reclining position. You’ll also visit Ramabhar Stupa where Gautam Buddha was cremated. This stupa rises to fifteen meters in height and has been built using red bricks. The next destination covered in the package is the Japan Temple which houses a beautiful Ashta Dhatu of Gautam Buddha. After this, you will drive to Ayodhya and you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Have a peaceful sleep at your hotel.

• Day 12 – Ayodhya – Lucknow

  After a delicious breakfast in the morning, you’ll embark on a temple tour of Ayodhya and visit popular attractions like Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid, Kanak Bhavan, Treta ke Thakur, Nageshwarnath Temple, Mani Parbat & Hanumangarh and Lakshmana Ghat. Ayodhya is one of the most sacred destinations for the Hindus. It is also the place where various religious faiths such as Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, and Buddhism converged. This religious town is known to be the birthplace of four of Tirthankaras. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Ram was born here and it's also the setting for the great epic "The Ramayana." Ayodhya's prime attractions are its sacred temples and riverside ghats. The winding lanes house old-world homes that are adorned with beautiful carvings. In the afternoon you’ll head to Lucknow. Post arrival you’ll be transferred to a high-end hotel. Relax for some time and then in the evening get ready for the tour of Lucknow’s popular attractions. Have a pleasant stay at your hotel.

• Day 13 – Lucknow - Delhi

  Start your morning with a tasty breakfast and then you’ll go on a sightseeing tour of Lucknow. You’ll be transferred to the airport in the afternoon to board the flight to Delhi. After arriving in Delhi you’ll meet our representative who will escort you to your pre-reserved hotel. Have an overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 14 – Delhi Depart

  Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel and then you’ll be transferred to Delhi International Airport from where you will catch a flight for onward destination.
