• Day 01 – Kolkata - Delhi - Haridwar

  We will commence our journey from your local city, Kolkata. You have the option to fly directly to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, or you can meet our reps at the Kolkata Railway Station. Once the traveling party meets up in Delhi, we will depart the national capital for Haridwar, which is located around 210 km away.

  The drive will be around 5 to 6 hours, so we will reach Haridwar and check into our accommodations after midnight.

• Day 02 – Haridwar to Barkot

  The second day is officially the start of the hill travel in our Char Dham Yatra. We will wake up early in the morning for a healthy meal and then be on our way to Barkot. Barkot is located just 45 km away from Yamunotri and will serve as our base for the next couple of days.

  As soon as you are done with your breakfast, we will embark on a 150 km drive, which will take somewhere close to 6 hours. En route, we will delve into the captivating hill station of Mussoorie, which is renowned for its panoramic views and the ever-enchanting Kempty Falls. Capture the lasting memories with your cameras.

  We will reach Barkot by the late evening; settle into your cozy hotel for the night.

• Day 03 – To Yamunotri & Back

  The first of the four dhams that we will cover is Yamunotri, and today is the day for that. As soon as we finish our breakfast, the traveling party will move towards Janki Chatti. From there, we have to complete a 5-6 km trek (optional pony/ doli rides available) on a scenic path. You will be surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes.

  As soon as we reach the Yamunotri temple, you will be able to offer prayers and seek blessings from the deity. Note that there are three temples in the main complex. We will cover all three. After that, we will head back towards our base in Barkot.

• Day 04 – Barkot to Uttarkashi

  After a refreshing stay at Barkot, we will bid farewell to it and get on the road to our next stop - Uttarkashi. This city is also known as the ‘City of Shiva.’ We will also make a visit to the Prakateshwar Mahadev, an ancient temple that has existed since the Mahabharata period.

  Once we reach the ‘Kashi of the North,’ we will visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pay your respect to this revered shrine. Then, we will check into our hotel rooms, enjoy dinner, and feel the spiritual energy that is ever present in this ancient town.

• Day 05 – To Gangotri and back

  The second of the Char Dham that we will cover is the Gangotri Dham. The source of the holiest of all rivers in Hinduism, Gangotri welcomes hundreds of thousands of devotees every year.

  We will embark on our journey with the crack of dawn, but only after having a hearty breakfast. Our destination is the Ganga Maiya temple, standing at a height of 3,100 m above sea level. The temple was built in the same place where King Bhagirath prayed to bring the river Ganga to the Earth. You will find the statues of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and King Bhagirath in the temple complex.

  Once you have offered your prayers at the Gangotri temple, we will return to Uttarkashi with a heart filled with reverence and rest for the night.

• Day 06 – Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

  With two of the Char Dhams out of the way, day six will see us heading towards Kedarnath, the sanctified shrine of Lord Shiva. And on this quest, our first stop will be at Guptkashi.

  We will leave our comfortable accommodation in Uttarkashi early in the morning. The drive will take us through some of the most picturesque valleys and villages, offering many glimpses of what the beautiful Himalayas have to offer to us.

  We will reach Guptkashi, our stop for the day, by evening. It is a quaint little town that will serve as our base for the Kedarnath trek. Check into your pre-booked hotel and ensure a comfortable sleep as a spiritually enriching day awaits you tomorrow.

• Day 07 – To Kedarnath

  Again, we will get up with the sun for the most challenging yet rewarding part of our pilgrimage - reaching the Kedarnath temple. The trek to Kedarnath is, without a doubt, challenging, so make sure you are physically fit to take part.

  You will be taken first to Sonprayag, where you will be able to enjoy the famous Gauri Kund. From there, we will start our trek to the main Kedarnath temple - a trek that is around 6 km in the upward direction. You will be surrounded by the Mandakini River flowing alongside you the rest of the way.

  You will witness the changing Himalayan scenery as you ascend with each step. Finally, you will reach the Kedarnath temple, which is perched amidst the snow-capped peaks. Seek blessings from Lord Shiva.

  We will stay overnight at a Dharamshala and have dinner here as well.

• Day 08 – Back to Guptkashi

  After a rejuvenating night in the Kedarnath Dharamshala, we will head back to Guptkashi in the early morning. You will be able to breathe in the crisp mountain air as you retrace your steps down the trail.

  We will recharge with breakfast at Sonprayag before getting on a comfortable drive back to Guptkashi. For the rest of the day, you are free to do as you wish.

• Day 09 – Guptkashi to Badrinath

  The 9th day of this trip will see us bidding farewell to Guptkashi and heading towards the final destination of this trip - Badrinath.

  After having breakfast in the early morning, we will start our journey via Chopta. We will stop at Mana village, an iconic small village on this side of the Indo-Tibetan border. It has the honor of being the last Indian village. We will also visit Vyas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Ganesha Gufa & Saraswathi Temple along our way to Badrinath.

  Next, we will stop at the Tapt Kund at Badrinath. Devotees take a purifying dip in the holy Tapt Kund. Then, we will head towards the Badrinath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Do the darshan and witness the traditional aarti before retiring to your comfortable accommodation near the temple

• Day 10 – Badrinath to Srinagar

  The penultimate day is the official start of the return leg of our journey. We will begin the day by traveling to Joshimath.

  In Joshimath, the traveling party will visit the famous Narsingh Temple, revered for its association with Lord Vishnu’s incarnation as Lord Narasimha. Then we will drive through the Panch Prayags - Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Vishnuprayag, and Nandprayag along the way.

  Finally, we will reach our destination in Srinagar and retire for the night. However, you are free to stroll in this charming little town located on the banks of the Alaknanda River.

• Day 11 – Back to Delhi and then Kolkata

  Now, we are on the final day of our Char Dham Yatra. We will bid farewell to the majestic Himalayas and carry the blessings of the Char Dhams in our hearts.

  After a fulfilling and healthy breakfast, our party will begin a comfortable drive to the national capital region. During this drive, you will be able to reminisce about the transformative experience of your pilgrimage. Upon reaching Delhi, our team will assist you with the onward journey to Kolkata. We will ensure a seamless transfer for you and the rest of the traveling party by dropping you off at the Indira Gandhi International Airport or one of the many railway stations in Delhi. And that will be the end of our tour and our services.
