• Day 01 – Chennai - Vaitheeswaran Koil – Kumbakonam

  On the first day, you will embark from Chennai Railway Station or Airport. Our driver will pick you up and you’ll enjoy a picturesque drive to Vaitheeswaran Koil which is approximately 275 kilometers away from Chennai. The first stop will be the Angaraka Temple which is situated at a distance of around 15 kilometers from Vaitheeswaran Koil and is dedicated to Angaraka (Mars). Here, you will seek blessings from the deity. After that, you will head to the Thiruvengadu Temple which is around 10 kilometers away and is dedicated to Budha (Mercury). Offer your prayers to the deity and seek wisdom and guidance. Post the blissful exploration of the temple you will visit the Keezhaperumpallam Temple which is situated at a distance of around 7 kilometers from Thiruvengadu and is dedicated to Kethu. Next, you’ll head to Kumbakonam which is situated at a distance of around 56 kilometers. Have an overnight stay at Kumbakonam.

• Day 02 – Kumbakonam

  Today you will embark on a holy pilgrimage to the sacred temples of Kumbakonam. Savor a tasty breakfast in the morning and then head to the Thirunallar Temple which is around 57 kilometers away and is dedicated to Shani (Saturn). Here, you will seek relief from Saturn’s malefic effects, invoking blessings for well-being and prosperity. The journey will then continue to the revered Alangudi Temple which is located at a distance of around 73 kilometers from Kumbakonam and is dedicated to Guru (Jupiter). Seek the blessings and guidance of the deity and then head to the Thingalur Temple which is around 73 kilometers from Kumbakonam and is dedicated to Guru (Jupiter). Next, you will head to the Thingalur Temple which is around 48 kilometers away and is dedicated to Chandra (Moon). Your second day’s holy pilgrimage will end with a visit to the Suriyanar Koil which is around 46 kilometers away and is dedicated to Surya (Sun). As the day comes to an end you will head back to Kumbakonam and have a peaceful overnight stay.

• Day 03 – Kumbakonam - Swamimalai – Kumbakonam

  Enjoy a delectable breakfast at your hotel in the morning and then embark on a pilgrimage to Swamimalai which is known for its natural beauty and spiritual significance. You will visit the Murugan Temple, one of the Subramanya Swamy’s six abodes. It is located amidst picturesque surroundings and is steeped in lore and mythology offering you a sacred space for reflection and worship. You will then visit the Thirunageswaram Rahu Temple which is situated around 6 kilometers away and is dedicated to Rahu. Next, you will visit the Kanchanur Temple which is around 27 kilometers from Kumbakonam and is dedicated to Sukra (Venus). Soak in the ancient temple’s spiritual ambiance and seek blessings for prosperity, love, and harmony. After the divine exploration, you will head back to Kumbakonam and have a relaxing overnight stay.

• Day 04 – Kumbakonam - Chidambaram - Pitchavaram – Pondicherry

  Today you’ll embark on a picturesque drive to Pondicherry from Kumbakonam after a lip-smacking breakfast. You’ll cover a journey of approximately 135 kilometers spanning around 3 hours. Pondicherry is a coastal town known for its rich cultural heritage and serene ambiance. On the way, you’ll visit Chidambaram which houses the Lord Nataraja Temple. Appreciate the beauty of Lord Shiva, the cosmic dancer, and seek blessings for enlightenment and divine grace. You will then visit Pitchavaram, a place known for its serene backwaters. Here, you will revel in the peaceful ambiance and soak in the natural splendor. Once you arrive at Pondicherry you will be transferred to your hotel and you will complete the check-in formalities. Relax for a while and then you can explore the local sites, such as the Ganesh Mandir and Aurobindo Ashram. Return to your hotel in the evening and have a restful sleep.

• Day 05 – Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram – Chennai

  On the last day of your spiritual pilgrimage, you will bid goodbye to Pondicherry after savoring a hearty breakfast in the morning at the hotel. You’ll check out from your hotel and head back to Chennai, covering approximately 162 kilometers distance spanning 3.5 hours. On the way to Chennai, you will stop by the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram. You will also delve into the Pallava dynasty’s architectural marvels and explore the Arjuna's Penance and Pancha Rathas marveling at the history and intricate carvings of these ancient monuments. As the day comes to an end you’ll return to your hometown from Chennai cherishing the memories of the transformative journey.
