It is said that when there was no scope of creation of this world and there was eternal darkness all over then with the divine energy of Mata Kushmanda the whole universe are created. Lord Vishnu was only able to create this world when Mata Kushmanda smiled and moved away and with her bright smile the universe got enlightened and Mata create the whole universe. Mata Kushmanda is also known as the \u201cAshtabhuja\u201d as she has eight hands holding lotus, Kamandalu, a jar of nectar, bow, arrow, discus, Mace and in her eight hand she holds rosary which blesses all her devotees with 8 types of wisdom source which is called Ashta Siddhis and 8 types wealth which is called Navniddhis. She is a form of \u201cAdi Shakti\u201d. It is highly advised that her worshipers should worship her only after complete purification of their heart and soul and with complete devotion. If you come with an impure heart to this Goddess then you can make her angry. By the grace of Mata Kushmanda all the physical and mental problems gets solved. Even the devotees who worship Maa Kushmanda with pure heart gets blessings for a better and problem free life and that devotee always live a problem free life. So, it is said that Maa Kushmanda asks for a sacrifice for Pumpkin. So, this also a reason why she is known as \u201cKushmanda\u201d. Maa Kushmanda is the creator of this universe and she enlightened the world with her smile. Mata Kushmanda resides in Sun and controls the functions of Surya Lok. She has a very glowing skin and her body skin is of golden color which glows every time. She always appreciate pure hearted people and she hates impurity which usually now people carries in their heart while visiting the temples. So, if you are thinking of worshiping this Goddess then you have to clean up your heart and make it a pure one because if you worship her with an impure heart then she will get angry with you and instead of getting blessings you would have to suffer a lot of pain and things in your life.<\/p>\n<p>Mata Kushmanda represents Anahata Chakra in spiritual practice. Mata Kushmanda\u2019s Pooja in fourth day of Navratri is very important as this is the beginning of Mahalaxmi Pooja.
