They wanted to repent for their sins to Lord Shiva.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pandavas Search in Varanasi<\/strong>-First the Pandavas travelled to Varanasi but Lord Shiva wanted to avoid them as he was angry by the war. Sol He avoided them by taking the form of a bull.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lord Shiva Disguised-<\/strong> Pandavas searched for Lord Shiva in the Himalayan Mountains. But, after some time Bhima spotted a bull in Guptkashi. He identified Lord Shiva in the form of a bull. Bhima grabbed the tail of the bull but the bull left his hump and vanished into the earth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lord Shiva Reappeared<\/strong>&#8211; Lord Shiva was pleased with the constant search and devotion of Pandavas. So He reappeared in 5 parts in different areas. In Kedarnath he reappeared as a bull Hump. In Tungnath, his arms reappeared. In Rudranath, his face reappeared, In Madhyamaheshwar, his navel and stomach reappeared, his hairs (mated jata of Lord Shiva) are worshipped. . All these parts are in the form of a Jyotirlinga.
