Omkareshwar Temple<\/a>, a famous pilgrimage of Lord Shiva, is situated in Mandhata of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. This sacred spot, located on the banks of the pious river Narmada, is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the ancient scriptures, the person who visits all of the 12 Jyotirlinga Teerth Sthal gets free from sins committed mistakenly. In Hinduism, the Omkareshwar Temple holds great spiritual significance, and so devotees from all over the country travel to Khandwa in quest of the auspicious Darshan of Mahadev.<\/p>\n
