- Step1- You have to visit Shri Amarnath Shrine Board Official website

- Step3- You will fill your form with personal data like tourist route, number of pilgrims date, contact no etc.
- Step4– You also have to fill in your medical details as physical fitness is important to undertake the journey for Amarnath. You have to submit a medical certificate and date of issue in the form.
- Step5- After giving your mobile number, you will receive an OTP to verify your number.

To do an offline registration in advance for Amarnath Yatra, you have to visit nearest Bank branches of PNB, J&K Bank, Yes Bank and SBI Bank of your state between specified times and follow the step-by-step procedure-
- Step1– You have to fill the Amarnath Yatra Permit application form.
- Step2- In the form you have to fill in all the important details like name, contact number, address, date of the yatra, information of your ID, emergency contact details and attach your medical certificate with the form.
- Step3-After filling the form, Make the payment and you will get your yatra permit for Amarnath Yatra.

- The Yatra Permit registration will be done on a first come and first serve basis.
- The payment to get a Yatra Permit from the Bank is INR – 150/-

While filling the application form for Amarnath registration online, you will need certain documents to show it to your camp director. Here is a list of documents you will need while filling the form-
- Scanned copy of Medical Certificate issued by your doctor / Hospital authorized in your state. File size should not be more than 1 MB. It should be in PDF format.
- Passport Size Photo hard copy. While filling the form you also have to submit a photo which should not be more than 1 MB. The photo file should be .JPEG or .JPG only.

If you are not from India then as a Foreign National/ NRI and an ex Indian, there is a different procedure to book this yatra in advance.

While registering for Amarnath Yatra or during the journey, you need to keep some important things in mind-
- If you are registering for Amarnath Yatra, you must be aware of the fact that the Yatri below 13 years of age and above 70 years of age are not allowed for Amarnath Yatra.
- Pregnant ladies of 6 weeks are also not allowed to undertake Amarnath Yatra under any circumstances.
- During the Amarnath Yatra, you have to carry a valid ID proof and passport to show whenever required by the authorities. Do not forget to carry your Yatra permit.
- The use of plastics is banned in Amarnath. So don’t carry any plastic product or bag. Be a responsible tourist.
