How to Reach Varanasi by Bus

Various buses are run by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, which connects this religious place with Uttar Pradesh’s major cities and nearby States. By private bus services also you can also reach Varanasi. Every type of bus is run, like AC Buses, Normal buses, Deluxe buses, etc.

To reach the temple, you need to either take a cycle/auto rickshaw or a taxi to reach Lahori Tola, a famous locality. Once you have reached this locality, you should look out for the Kashi Vishwanath temple’s entry gate. Once you have entered this gate, you will pass into Vishwanath Gali, a narrow lane that is dotted with small shops that sell sweets, traditional eatables, items for offering worship, etc.

How to Reach Varanasi by Flight

Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport is the main airport in Varanasi. It is situated in Babatpur, which is situated at a distance of around 15 km from the Varanasi city centre. You will find various International and domestic flights that land every day in Varanasi. By flight, you can easily reach Varanasi from different airports in India.

After reaching Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, you can hire a private taxi, or book cabs or autos to reach Varanasi.
